Description:The F-35 Signature Integration team is looking for a software engineer with a proven track record of delivering software applications and tools that meet or exceed customers' expectations. Responsibilities will range across the Signature Management team areas. Main tasks will include updating tools and processes and creating new techniques for the Supportable Low Observable (SLO) team, development of flight testing applications, as well as developing software for the Radar Cross Section (RCS) Acceptance Test Facility (ATF). The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software tools to enable internal team members to quickly analyze and decipher RCS measured data. As the tool suite grows and matures the candidate will be responsible for growing and training new team members to help develop and maintain it. The applicant will work across the various stages of F-35: production, sustainment, improvements and derivatives, as well as research and development.

The candidate will be responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining signature software. Candidate responsibilities will span the technology development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, and adjudicating change requests as the software is updated, tested, and integrated. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems around the globe. The ability to travel on occasion for installation, integration and test activities is desired.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* JAVA Experience
* Windows Operating Systems experience

Desired Skills:

The candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplined team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Effective communication skills are desired as the position will require inter-organizational and outside customer interactions. Experience with C/C++, Java, Oracle, and Shell Scripting is highly desired.
