What does an exceptional Software Developer do?

As a .NET Software Engineer, you will be a part of small but growing team of talented people responsible for customizing and implementing a sophisticated enterprise banking software solution platform in a fast-paced results oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in software programming and consulting with experience working directly with clients as well as internal project managers and other development resources. The environment is .NET with a SQL backend and each project contains integrations with third party vendors including proprietary credit union and bank host systems. Relationship building is an important aspect of the position, where the individual will focus on securing strong professional relationships with clients in anticipation of additional customizations and product add-on sales in the future.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

* Install, configure, customize, upgrade, support and troubleshoot all technical issues related to the internet banking solution within both on premise and hosted environments for both desktop and mobile platforms
* Work directly with clients to understand business needs, define requirements, quote projects
* Build, test, implement and launch the solutions proposed.
* Work directly with third party vendors to define technical requirements and customize, configure and implement solutions to interface with various external systems
* Hands on development and resolution of all technical issues within an on premise and hosted client environment
* Work with senior management to define and implement technical processes and procedures within department focusing on client satisfaction and efficiency
* Work closely with Product Development and Professional Services developers to resolve complex technical issues related to projects
* Train clients on Architect SDK - onsite and local
* Be a highly motivated "self-starter" who is passionate about web development, and is anxious to learn from other high-level web developers.
* Be a team player, ability to collaborate idea sharing in strong product setting.
* Develop native mobile applications for iOS and Android (nice to have)
* Follow Agile SDLC

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering required. Will consider full stack development and/or mobile application development experience in lieu of degree.
* 5+ years of backend software development experience and understanding in web applications.
* 2+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, designing modern, secure Web Based applications
* 1+ years of experience in Android or iOS mobile application, development, or design experience
* Experience in .NET and SQL Server, IIS, web development
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree or industry certification.
* ReactJS, React Native
* Microsoft SQL Server
* Mobile, Tablet, Hand Held Device iOS/Android Development
* Hands-on software development designing, writing, debugging, and testing object oriented code.
* Hands-on software development Mobile experience, including writing Android or iOS mobile applications or related experience e.g. Blackberry, Windows 8, Mac OS, or Phone gap.
* Proficiency with software development tools like the following: Microsoft Visual Studio, Pforce Source Control, Araxis Merge (or another text file comparison tool), Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer.
* Previous work experience within the banking and financial industry as it relates to Internet home banking applications. Financial industry to also include high volume with mission critical web sites such as Online Banking.
