Job Description

The Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) Program at Cedars-Sinai is a research and application development group, and a recognized market leader in software for nuclear cardiac imaging. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in a newly created position. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established and collaborative group of software engineers, research scientists, and physicians to build and deploy state-of-the-art software that impacts patient care world-wide.

As a member of our development team, you will be taking ownership of both new and existing features and modules within our applications.

Responsibilities include:

* TypeScript/JavaScript development using Angular


* Web application development


* User interface design


* Author unit tests


* Application troubleshooting/debugging


* Creation of technical documentation (e.g. design and technical specifications)


* Integration of newly developed features into mainstream code


* Interfacing with existing C++ applications


* Optimization of code performance



Education Requirements:

* BS degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited 4-yr university

Experience:

* 3+ years of experience managing application design, software development and maintenance


* Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript programming using Angular. (A programming test will be administered.)


* Proficiency in a back-end language (PHP, Python, Ruby, ASP)


* Working knowledge of C/C++


* Basic web administration skills


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
