DESCRISPTION OF DUTIES

You will provide software engineering support to the Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) program office, which is within the PEO Digitial Directorate (formerly known as the Battle Management Directorate) located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

THE ROLE

* Responsible for supporting the government in the planning, design and implementation interfaces required to support current and new capability requirements.


* Software requirements and design documentation for upgrade programs


* Perform validation of system interfaces, including development of criteria and procedures.


* Review and evaluate system and technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures/results, and technical data packages.


* Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.


* Maintain current knowledge of related technology as assigned.


* Participate in special projects, technical meetings, and source selections as required.


* Develop comprehensive government engineering documentation.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We are in need of someone with the following skill set:

* You have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of software experience.


* Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired.


* Proven ability to work effectively in an IPT environment.


* Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.


* Proficient in MS Office suite.


* Ability to obtain and maintain active US security clearance.
