Are you a Software Development Engineer who loves innovating and creating new products? Are you excited about artificial intelligence technologies and conversational agents? We are looking for a Seasoned Software Engineer to develop cloud-enabled AI solutions in the healthcare industry.

As a core member of our engineering team, you will develop the software tools and technologies that accelerate our ability to help customers. Working within an Agile framework, you'll leverage your experience in software development, machine learning, APIs, cloud technologies, DevOps, and software testing to create innovative solutions to new problems.

What you'll do

* Analyze, design, code, test, maintain, debug, and modify software, machine learning models, neural networks, and systems for service-based, web, mobile or cloud technologies in an agile team environment.
* Consult with business partners and IT leaders to identify and understand problems and opportunities; recommend solutions; and apply system-wide, architectural view of solutions.
* Apply Security and DevOps principles and practices to all production solutions
* Perform unit testing and create and execute test automation, document test results, and participate in functional testing associated with team efforts.
* Produce appropriate technical and architectural documentation
* Analyze high risk production problems, assess alternatives and implement long-term solutions.
* Support production Includes performance tuning, technical troubleshooting, debugging, call-rotation, and root cause analysis.
* Support project initiatives collaborating with the rest of the team and stakeholders, ensuring that development milestones and deadlines are met. Provide mentoring to less experienced staff.
* Assist in the development of IT standards and influence application of best practices in IT standards and procedures. Influence team strategy and contribute significantly to team planning.

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience
* 8+ years of software development experience
* 2+ years Python experience
* Experience developing ML/AI solutions to natural language, prediction, rules engine, probability assessment or classification problems.
* Experience with REST API/ Web API creation, consumption, integration using Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices Architecture, and Data Streaming Architectures.
* Experience working with cloud solutions
* Strong team player with ability to influence and bring together differing points of view.
* Experience automating tests and deployments in a cloud-based environment.
* Deep technical knowledge in at least one area/technology and demonstrated deep hands-on expertise in disparate technologies. Demonstrated ability to think in terms of architecture. Demonstrated experience building multiple, high performance, stable and scalable solutions that have been deployed in enterprise setting.
* Experience playing a leading implementation and deployment of successful enterprise-level system.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and good presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Advanced experience in agile development and DevOps practices
