Software Engineer - iOS Infrastructure

At Yelp, the Core iOS team empowers engineers to quickly get features into the hands of millions of users. We're a small team whose work directly impacts every iOS engineer at Yelp, and we're looking to grow! As a member of Core iOS, you will build infrastructure that powers all of the features we build across our iOS apps and influences their future. You'll also work closely with our community of iOS engineers to spread best practices and find opportunities to make us all more effective.

What You Will Do:

* Design and implement new tools and frameworks that will improve the development process for dozens of iOS engineers.
* Think holistically about the health, structure, and performance of our iOS apps and find ways to improve them.
* Mentor other engineers and share the best practices you've learned.
* Continue to learn, grow, and help us take on brand new challenges.
* Be a part of the larger iOS developer community at Yelp.

We Are Looking For:

* Understanding of the iOS platform (Objective-C or Swift, preferably both).
* Experience with iOS testing, from breaking controller logic into unit-testable pieces to automated UI testing.
* Familiarity automating iOS builds and releases with tools like Jenkins, Unix shell scripting, xcodebuild, and Fastlane.
* If you don't have at least one year of experience in a similar role, please take a look at our College Engineering roles instead!
