Software Engineer (iOS)

As a Capital One engineer, you'll ship customer-facing mobile apps to millions of customers.

As an iOS engineer, you'll help guide teammates through the hurdles of shipping enterprise grade software to production.

Responsibilities:

* Design and deliver awesome SDKs and apps to millions of users


* Drive best practice for automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery


* Partner with our product, design and business counterparts to shape the roadmap


* Drive consensus while delivering medium to large sized/complexity components with a team


* Actively participate in team agile ceremonies to ensure that all commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality


* Contribute to inner and open source projects


* Learn new things, share best practices and improve processes



Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or military experience


* At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience


* At least 1 year of mobile development for native iOS applications


* At least 1 year of experience with Swift



Preferred Qualifications:

* 4+ years of mobile development for native iOS applications


* 2+ years of experience developing and supporting an app in the App Store


* 2+ years experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies


* Advanced knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented and protocol-oriented design


* A portfolio of open source code
