You will be working with a team of experienced professionals that are responsible for designing and building new functionality for our customers. Knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Universal Windows Platform (UWP). Job Description Technology: C#, UWP, IOT, WPF, ASP.NET, .NET 4.5, Visual Studio 2015, XML/JSON, SOAP/REST, WCF Responsibilities: Act as knowledge expert in the development of new programs Maintain existing programs based on case-by-case specifications Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of complex programs Actively participate in agile team activities Responsible for the intricate details in the design of new or changing programs Participate in functional test planning and testing for the assigned applications, functional areas or projects Facilitate problem solving and troubleshooting efforts for complications in the assigned applications, functional areas or projects Stay current with changes in the technical area of expertise and disseminate this information Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects while ensuring the highest quality output is retained Work with the team to ensure the quality of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution Communicate clearly, strongly and effectively to small and large groups Mentor technical resources in project teams Define and evangelize best practice design and modeling methodologies Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor with key internal and external stakeholders Other responsibilities as required to support the company's growth Required Experience 4-8 years of hands-on software development experience using current Microsoft tools and technologies Minimum 1 years experience in multi-tier, distributed enterprise architecture environments Minimum 3 years experience with Windows-based operating system environments Responsibilities EducationBachelors (Required) Work Experience Certifications Skills Language(s) Lonza is an equal opportunity employer.
