Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Secaucus, NJ seeks a Software Engineer III (multiple) to design,

develop, and implement Master Data Management (MDM) and system integration

projects and components. Utilize SQL and Oracle PLSQL to perform ETL (Extract,

Transform, Load) functions and derive master records on data from multiple

systems and customize for heterogeneous company records. Design and develop

Java-based applications using Java JEE frameworks to coordinate components to

meet MDM requirements. Provide technical expertise throughout application

development phases from inception to requirements, elaboration, construction,

deployment, and maintenance. Support production applications and systems,

ensuring each system operates per service level agreements and complies with

governmental regulations and industry standards. Contribute during application

development phases using Rational Unified Process (RUP) and/or Agile. Create

and execute unit test cases and support quality control, load, and integration

testing. Collaborate with business partners, architects, project managers, and

IT infrastructure colleagues throughout development.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely

related field, plus three (3) years of progressively responsible

post-baccalaureate experience in Master Data Management, using SQL, Oracle

PLSQL, and using Java JEE frameworks to perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)

and derive master records; or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,

Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related field, plus five (5)

years of progressively responsible relevant post-baccalaureate experience using

the same methodologies. Experience may be gained prior, during, or after

completion of Master's degree.
