Software Engineer

Location: Tewksbury, MA

Duration: 5-6 months

Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform product implementation activities including the design and implementation of complex software product (multiple-modules and various sub-systems, including instrumentation control)
* Participate in product design meetings as necessary.
* Perform bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned product
* Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems
* Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

* Ability to quickly understand the requirements, short learning curve
* Handle complex application features and technical designs
* Ability to multi-task
* Clear oral and written communications skill

Education/Experience:

* 5+ years of experience in software development is preferred
* Strong understanding of OOD/OOP and experience in implementing complex applications using .NET/C# 4.0 is a must
* A minimum of 5 year's cumulative experience developing application on the Microsoft .NET platform and technologies using C#
* Understanding and experience with multi-threaded UI .NET applications is required (Windows Forms)
* Must have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications and systems analysis, design, and development
* Understanding of .NET Remoting, Web services, WCF and LINQ is a plus
