In this role, you will be focused on enhancing our existing freight brokerage systems using the latest presentation frameworks and service architectures. Working on a small Agile/Scrum development team, you will play a key part in helping Coyote continue to scale as well as re-imagining and reinventing the transportation industry via the technology we produce.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

* Working on a development team to create technical solutions that meet business needs
* Contributing to the architectural decisions and implementation of the applications your team is dedicated to
* Contributing to all aspects of a high-performance application that is integrated into the success of Coyote's business strategy
* Submitting and conducting code reviews

Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or its equivalent)
* Experience in a technical/development internship
* The ability to work in diverse front end development environments, ranging from WPF and Win Forms to React and React Native
* Familiarity with Visual Studio and TFS/VSTS & GIT/VSTS
* Expertise in problem solving and technical innovation
* An obsession with learning new things and continuously investing in education, both formally and informally
* A willingness to test your code and an understanding of why that is important
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



Valued Skills & Experience

* Experience with scalable, multi-threaded services and service-oriented architectures
* Familiarity working with a continuous integration/continuous delivery process
* Exposure to event-driven architectures
* Experience with the following platforms is a plus:
* ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI, and WCF
* MongoDB (or other document database platforms)
* Modern web/mobile technologies such as React, React Native, AngularJS, or Xamarin
* NServiceBus, RabbitMQ, and/or Elasticsearch
