Overview

Vitamin Shoppe Industries, Inc. seeks Software Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.

Responsibilities

Duties: Build, configure and maintain the build and deployment tools and processes. Research and implement automation of the build and deployment processes, including configuration / packaging etc. Develop key Java/ATG modules for the Vitamin Shoppe's e-Commerce development initiatives. This includes integration work with other systems, both internal and external. Deliver quality design and development solutions that result in zero post-project critical bug counts. Perform troubleshooting and investigation of business, data or technical issues as they might arise. Provide accurate project/task time duration estimates and statuses to team and project management. Develop adequate documentation for other programmers as a part of development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of experience. Requires 4 years of experience in the following: SCRUM/Agile software development (Agile environment); Java or other object oriented languages and design; J2EE technologies (Java, Servlets, JSP etc); Object Oriented Programming concepts; Relational Databases like Oracle; Designing relational database models; Continuous integration and continuous deployment (Version Control, build tools etc); Set up and running a continuous integration environment; Infrastructure setup and support.; Using industry best practices in shipping software to different environments; Site speed management and performance monitoring; OWASP Security Compliance; Test Driven Development (TDD).
