JOB SUMMARY:

Designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains high-quality software product applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
* Designs and develops high-quality code.
* Tests, debugs, analyzes and fixes application problems/issues. Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.
* Follows the software development lifecycle process.
* Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
* Other duties and projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
* Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.
* Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
* Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language), Java
* Proficiency in JAX-RS/Jersey, Spring Boot, OAS 2.0/3.0, Postman, Swagger
* Working knowledge of XML, XPath, SOAP, , JavaScript/Angular
* Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, Tomcat, Websphere
* Working knowledge of Jira, Git, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Gradle
* Familiarity with Internet Explorer, CSS, HTML, AJAX
* Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Appropriate work authorization (No OPT, H1-B, etc.)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* 3+ years software development experience including design and development.
* Financial industry experience preferred.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
