Job Description

DJ Instruments, a divison of Dynisco, www.dynisco.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Roper Industries, is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of software and highly engineered test, measurement and control products.

DJ Instruments is located in Billerica, Massachusetts. DJ Instruments will not use third party agencies and will not pay to relocate- you must be eligible to work in the United States to be considered.

The project will allow the candidate to develop and test new hardware and software that leverages a 32 bit floating point microcontroller. This project will require a significant amount of time developing the associated software needed to control the hardware system. The candidate will be working very closely with an engineer to complete the associated task.

Under the direction of an Engineer, the Software Engineering Co-Op gains professional, career-related experience at DJ Instruments by performing special project work as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with C
* Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures
* Solid understanding of programming microcontrollers in an IDE environment
* Experience with programming Master and Slave I2C communications
* Experience with microcontroller ADC operation, DMA, and NVM.
* An understanding of basic lab test equipment (oscilloscope, function generators, DMM, etc)
* Strong ability to debug code
* Strong written communication skills
* Understanding of analog fundamentals a plus


* Educational Qualifications:



Must be a matriculating student in the Computer or Electrical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
