A Software Engineer job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for . To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science Engineering, and minimum two years of experience with C, C++, State machine concepts, HMI screen design, and hydraulic/electric control systems. Experience with

object oriented programming tools and techniques, debugging software/hydraulic/electrical systems, and hydraulics, Servo Drives/Motors and Servo Hydraulics, is strongly preferred. This is a very visible, contract to hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

Software Engineer job responsibility

* Works independently to solve technical problems and deliver engineering solutions
* Understand and derive customer requirements and converts requirements into engineering work products
* Takes full responsibility for quality, quantity and timeliness of work
* Works within set priorities for work flow
* Develops and proposes solutions to difficult problems

Qualifications

* 2 Years of relevant engineering experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education/experience/training plus additional specialized training related to the position
* Working knowledge of industrial products and/or subsystems
* General knowledge of structured engineering processes
* General knowledge of cross-functional processes
* General knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
* Proficient in MS Office tools
* Problem solving skills based on structured data analysis
* Successfully supported multiple design cycles.
* Specific Technical Qualifications:

o In depth knowledge of C, C++

o In depth knowledge of State machine concepts

o Experience with HMI screen design.

o Working knowledge of hydraulic/electric control systems.

o Broad experience with B&R control systems and software IDE tools.

o Experience with hydraulics, Servo Drives/Motors and Servo Hydraulics.

o In depth knowledge of object oriented programming tools and techniques.

o Experience in debugging software/hydraulic/electrical systems.
