About YourCause, LLC:

YourCause, a Blackbaud company, is a provider of corporate solutions for employee engagement tools within the corporate social responsibility (CSR) niche through its tool CSRconnect. YourCause provides users with a diverse set of online tools that allow them the ability to showcase their cause, respond to a disaster, fundraise or volunteer for a non-profit, or use the tools provided to promote their cause to family, friends, and co-workers.

Software Engineer:

We are seeking a candidate that has a great appetite for learning new technologies and possesses the ability to quickly get up to speed with our CSR and Grants platforms using the following stack: Angular 1.5 or later, ASP.NET Web API, MS SQL Server, Nodejs and any NoSQL DB.

Technical Job Requirements:

* Experience building enterprise application using Microsoft Web Tech stack
* Some exposure programming using C# and or Scala/Java
* Understanding of object-oriented programming and design
* Experience building applications on top the following Databases: MS SQL Server and or Postgres
* Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile and TDD
* Exposure building cloud base applications in AWS or Azure
* Exposure to OR/M tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper

Responsibilities:

* Work with little direct supervision on implementing designs defined by team or lead.
* Maintenance of existing applications
* Work closely with respective team leads to identity and eliminate any road blocks
* Assist in the development and implementation of test plans by working closely with the QA team
* Participate in daily stand ups

Education:

Bachelor's degree
