Software Engineer at Belvedere Trading

Belvedere Trading is looking for pragmatic Software Engineers interested in developing innovative, high-performance proprietary trading systems. Our Software Engineers participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from design to testing to deployment. Our Software Engineers develop and enhance our proprietary trading software platform that our traders use every day. What you'll do

* Design, implement and debug complex trading applications
* Create and maintain the platform that our trading applications are built on top of
* Write software to communicate with the exchanges where we trade:
* Order Gateways
* Price Feeds
* Analyze and tune software performance
* Partner with team members to ensure that our software meets requirements and is testable
* Communicate with project managers and team leaders to develop work strategies

What you'll need

* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* 2+ years working in a Linux environment with C++
* Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
* Desire to continuously learn in a team environment
* Great written and verbal communication skills
* Extra credit: Experience writing order gateways, security data, or price feeds
