The primary purpose of this role is to perform Coding, Testing, Documentation in the areas of Development and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

* Partner effectively with Business Analysts and other SCM team members to understand the client requirements and be able to code and create solutions for clients.
* Build and take ownership of solutions.
* Migrate and support code according to required specifications.
* Take complete ownership for assigned tasks and provide timely updates to all stakeholders.
* Communicate with all levels of staff and maintain technical documentation in a clear and concise manner.
* Work to facilitate SCM system design to meet user requirements.
* Adhere to change control policies and procedures; establishing and maintaining compliance with coding and configuration policies and standards.
* Review code to ensure best practices are being followed.
* Create knowledge transfer with other team members to improve overall team education level.
* Must be able to support 24/7 healthcare system with varying go-live schedules.

Quality and adherence to Standards

* Tech Specs, Code and/or Unit Test Plans produced are all in line with the Traceability Matrix/Functional Specification.
* Ensure all work is reviewed to ensure adherence to the relevant development standards.
* Peer review and sign-off of others work.
* Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Line or Project Manager.
* Production and revision of accurate detailed estimates.
* Escalate product issues and suggest product improvements.
* Escalate all issues in a timely fashion.
* Mentor junior team members in best practices and standards

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

* BA or BS degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience

Experience:

* 0-2 years Industry experience preferred
* 2-5 years experience as Software Engineer
* 2-3 years' experience with report writing tools (MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, MS SQL Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, etc.)
* WPF Experience in C# is a plus.
* Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in coding and SDLC.
* A keen sense of object-oriented principles and memory management.
* Strong communication skills and able to work successfully in a team environment.
* Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries is a plus.
* Experience with IDE like (MS Visual Studio/ MS SQL Server/ MS SQL Reporting Services/SQL Server Integration Services, etc.)
* Knowledge of MS Excel.(Macros,Formulas,Pivot Tables etc).
* Client-server and network based applications.
* Creating and consuming Webservices is a plus.
* Healthcare experience is a plus
* Strong communication skills and able to work successfully in a team environment.
* Exposure to Version Control Software is a plus.
* Must be able to support 24/7 healthcare system with varying go-live schedules.

Travel Requirements:

* May require local travel
* May require other travel for business needs

Working Arrangements:

* May require after hours on call support
* Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
