POC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, create, and modify embedded airborne firmware/software for our Applied Technologies Division. The selected candidate will be a creative and energetic engineer comfortable with multidisciplinary teams on fast moving and complex projects. He/She will develop software for avionics, drones, robots, and other sensor and control systems.

This position may be hired as a Software Engineer or a Sr. Senior Software Engineer based on candidate's experience and qualifications.

Experience Guidelines:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
* 2+ yrs. hands-on experience in embedded software development
* Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry (preferred)
* Solid communication skills, good problem solving ability, and ability to work with a diverse work force
* Embedded Linux software development, Linux Device driver, Linux BSP, Linux Kernel familiarity, GNU makefile & toolchain, cross-development environment, U-BOOT, TCP/IP ARM processor, board-bring-up experience, Electronic lab equipment, protocol analyzer, software unit/formal test development, Static Code Analysis tool, DO-178 software processes.
* 2+ years in one or more of the following is desired: C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux, ARM, micro-controller, TCP/IP, SATA, USB, DOORS, RTC, Eclipse IDE, Windows, Rhapsody, UML, Static Code Analysis (e.g. Understanding, PC-Lint), DO-178 & DO-254, OpenCL.
* Intermediate proficiency w/ MS Office
* Candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
