Position Overview

E3/Sentinel currently has numerous openings for cleared Software Engineers with varying levels of experience to support our clients in the National Capital Region. As an E3 Software Engineer you will join a new group who loves the mission and loves to code You will work in multi-disciplinary teams to work with clients to meet the business objectives by coordinating detailed technical analysis and design, investigating new approaches, and developing these technical designs.

Responsibilities

* Full life-cycle software development supporting DoD/IC
* Support legacy applications and tools as well as develop innovative new solutions based on end-user requirements
* Work with customer-base through industry leading DevOps practices to rapidly develop prototypes to iteratively solve difficult customer challenges
* Design wire frames of GUIs and workflows using industry proven open source tools
* Perform software design, development, integration, and maintenance

Required Qualifications

* TS/SCI required with the the ability to obtain poly or high security clearance
* 5 years direct related experience with SDLC (Software Developmen Life-cycle)
* Demonstrated experience building back-end services and APIs and front-end web applications
* Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

* DoD/IC experience with full life-cycle software development (analysis, design, development, test, deployment, maintenance) (Desired)
* Experience in the following technologies/languages/formats (Desired)
* Java, C#, C++, etc.
* JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl, etc.
* JSON/GeoJSON
* Data Visualization Libraries
* Tomcat, Apache Web Server
* HTML, CSS
* SQL, NoSQL Query Languages
* IC analysis tools


* Experience with iterative development and software CM processes and tools (Desired)
* Bachelor's Degree in - Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering majors (Desired)
