Job Description

Responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and debugging software systems. Responsible for the development of search and analysis systems and participate in architecture sessions, design sessions, and code development to support our search and analysis technology development. Utilize technologies such as machine learning, crawl technologies, distributed computing, Ruby, Java, Subversion, MySQL, Hadoop, Linux, Lucene, and a vast array of other technologies.

Analyzing and revising search and analysis technology that includes the development and efficiency of robust, high-throughput parallel systems, intelligent algorithm design, and participation in architecture sessions, design sessions, and code development to support search and analysis technology. Supporting search and analysis operations that includes monitoring, optimizing, and fixing the search and analysis systems in operation. Performing testing and developing and design standards that include documenting and executing updated software test plans and defining and implementing standards and best practices for software development

Master degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or related field with 2 years experience or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 3 years experience required. Academic training or experience must include some exposure to:

* 12 months PL/SQL programming experience and experience working with TOAD and SQL Developer
* 6 months Object oriented programming experience
* 6 months Relational SQL database experience: Oracle, or MySQL. Specifically, creating and maintaining Database Objects like Tables, Views, Indexes, Constraints, Sequence, Synonyms, Database link, Roles and Privileges.
* 6 months Linux OS experience
* 3 months Data structures
* 6 months Version control experience: SVN or git
* 6 months reporting experience with 2 or more of the following tools: Tableau, Power BI , Looker, QlikView
* 6 months Perl programming experience.
