The selected candidate will be a member of the Protection Technologies team under Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Engineering and Technology department. This organization is dedicated to the research and development of protection technologies used on numerous Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs.

The assignment will involve being part of a small team responsible for development and integration of Protection Technology software capabilities. The software will be developed in 'C' and 'C++' using an Agile process and will be designed to execute on single-core and multi-core embedded processors with various operation systems. The job will require the candidate to become an expert knowledgeable of embedded operating systems. The selected candidate will also be required to support product demonstrations and customer meetings.

Must be a US citizen - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Secret clearance updated in the last 5 years is required to start as well as the ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearances and Top Secret security clearance. Applicant selected will be subjected to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and must maintain eligibility for continued access to classified information throughout their employment as required by the job.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree

Experience working independently with guidance from senior engineers and subject matter experts

Experience with C/C++, OOA or OOD.
