Job Description

A Software Engineer job in Anaheim, CA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of the software development life cycle including software requirements analysis, architecture, detailed design, code, test, verification, documentation and product release. To be considered for this role, Bachelor or Master"s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and three to five years of experience related professional software development experience. This position requires the ability to meet and maintain eligibility requirements for U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance. US citizenship is required.

Software Engineer Job duties:

* Hands on experience that includes debugging on target hardware or developing within a desktop simulation environment using the C/C++ programming language
* The desire and the ability to learn complex SW architecture and GPS technologies
* Involved in all phases of the software development life cycle including software requirements analysis, architecture, detailed design, code, test, verification, documentation and product release

Qualifications:

* Bachelor or Master"s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) coursework and/or learned experience with physics, linear algebra and statistics
* Three to five years of related professional software development experience
* Real-time, multi-threaded embedded software development using the C/C++ programming language
* Knowledge of GPS and Agile software development experience
