Duties and Responsibilities:

We build high scalability; low latency system, which are inherently reliable and fault tolerant, developed on top of microservices and modern UI frameworks.

What we are looking for

* Guarantees the health of the service. Be the go-to person to identify where the issues are- test the service before fixing the automation.
* Have total ownership and knowledge of what is going on in the service.
* Investigate defects including what is failing and where is it failing.
* Design and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for applications and services.
* Research emerging test tools, trends and methodologies and enhance existing systems and processes.
* Ensure new engineering projects are testable.
* Develop reporting tools and test metrics.
* Document software defects and determine root cause analysis for issues.
* Address multiple testing concerns such as functionality, performance, security, accessibility, and localization.
* Architect and implement scalable test automation infrastructures, test fixtures and harnesses that will be utilized across multiple test and development teams.
* Represent test in product and development teams.

Role and Responsibilities

* 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus in test automation framework development.
* Strong coding skills in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: C# OR Java
* Experience with algorithms and data structures
* Background in backend API level testing and performance testing processes and tools
* Proven track record of test planning and test metrics generation for web applications and services
* Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases.
* Strives to implement Agile Testing Quadrants
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include printers, copiers, faxes, and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
