What we are looking for:

Develop and efficiently manage requirement by accessing requirement for software from engineer's point of view. Secure good software quality by studying/developing testing methodologies that can verify and check if the right software has been developed.

Responsibilities

* Guarantees the health of the service. Be the go-to person to identify where the issues are to test the service before fixing the automation.
* Have total ownership and knowledge of the entire system and the service.
* Investigate defects including what is failing and where is it failing.
* Architect, develop, and implement scalable test automation infrastructures, test fixtures and harnesses that will be utilized across multiple test and development teams.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for applications and services.
* Research emerging test tools, trends and methodologies and enhance existing systems and processes.
* Ensure new engineering projects are testable.
* Develop reporting tools and test metrics.
* Document software defects and determine root cause analysis for issues.
* Address multiple testing concerns such as functionality, performance, security, accessibility, and localization.
* Represent test in product and development teams.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, and one year of experience in software/systems testing or related.
* 6+ years of software development experience with coding skills in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: C#, Java, Node, Go, or other language
* Experience in scripting languages, preference for JavaScript
* Background in database testing and performance testing processes and tools
* Proven track record of test planning and test metrics generation for large-scale web applications and services
* Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases is preferred.
* Strives to implement Agile Testing Quadrants
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills and Qualifications

* Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
* Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
* Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments
* Typically requires minimum 5 years' of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include printers, copiers, faxes, and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
