We are seeking a Linux application Software developer to join our Herndon, VA Cross-Domain Cyber Security product development team. This exciting opportunity offers the individual creativity, leveraging Open Source tools and libraries to develop and scale our physical and virtual appliances products across multiple industries. This individual will have the ability participate in the evolution of our products as we scale including our continuous integration and continuous deployment environment, test automation frameworks, software development practice, integration, and test.

Qualifications:

* Familiarity with scalable API infrastructure
* Strong combination of Java, Python, Lua, Go or C/C++ programming development skill
* 2+ years of experience with Agile and test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment
* Experience with version control, bug tracking and task management software such as Git, JIRA and Confluence
* Familiarity with PKI, Certificates, TCP/IP, OSI model and need for abstraction layers
* Exposure with GDB or equivalent debugger
* Familiarity with Operating System Internals and Linux network programming
* Excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills
* Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Appreciates, values and practices the 12 principles behind the Agile Manifesto
* Exposure to writing use cases, epic and user stories
* Proven self-starter, ability to work independently, ability to think outside the box and a good team player in the agile team environment

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with enterprise scalable multi-threading Linux software a plus
* Experience with SELinux software development a plus
* Experience with high performance systems a plus
* Experience with Linux Network Programming a plus
* Experience with information security a plus
* Experience with SQL and NoSQL DB a plus
