GoDaddy's Global Platforms Development organization is looking for passionate software developers to join our Customer Insights team. The solutions we build allow our business partners to easily turn vast amounts of data into useful insights. In this role, you'll be responsible for bringing data into the platform; transforming it into a well-defined, consistent models; moving it to the best data stores to support API and analytics use cases; and making it easy for applications and consumers to access the data. Our goal is to enable GoDaddy to deeply know our customers and provide great customer products and experiences. Customer Insights Team

This position will be with our Customer Insights engineering team within our Global Platforms Development Organization. The Customer Insights engineering team serves as the trusted source of customer and product insight data and focuses on:

* Gathering data of customers and behaviors, products from variety of sources (product teams) or customer interaction data (call center, website products).
* Trusted and easy to consume data source.
* Delivering actionable data insights.
* Passionate about software development and providing great BIG data solutions.

Responsibilities

* Analyze requirements to design, develop and test interactive data solutions.
* Develop large-scale systems with high-speed and low-latency data solutions.
* Be well-versed in ETL of large scale data, low latency queries, real-time reporting, and APIs for data access.
* Support Data Applications, ad-hoc analysis, and BI systems.
* Develop APIs and write code to transform and enrich data in both batch and streaming scenarios.

Qualifications

* BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
* 2-5 years of experience in data engineering and/or building large scale platforms.
* 2-5 years of experience in coding in Java, Python, Node.js, or other object-oriented language.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, commitment to team, and positive attitude.
* Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server and MySQL.
* Experience with Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Spark, Storm, and other BIG data technologies.
* Experience with Apache Beam is a plus.
* Knowledge of Cassandra or other distributed data stores (Redis, MongoDB, MemCache, etc.) is a plus.
* Experience building CI/CD and server/deployment automation solutions is a plus.
* Experience with public cloud technologies is a plus.
