AWS Transfer, a new service launched at re:Invent 2018, is looking for innovative DevOps engineers with a passion for solving challenging problems to join the team and help us take the service to the next level. AWS Transfer is a highly available, massively scalable SFTP server that allows customers to read/write data from their S3 bucket. This service provides customers with both a new method to load data into S3 and also a way to migrate legacy workflows from on premises solutions into AWS.

As a software development engineer on the AWS Transfer team you will be a key contributor to the future direction and growth of the service. You will investigate operational issues, resolve customer challenges and help maintain and enhance the operational excellence that creates loyal AWS customers. This is a full-time position and is based in our Boston, MA office located in the Seaport District with parking, easy T access to South Station, and a beautiful view of the Charles River/Harbor.
