We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with an interest in big data to help us analyze this data related to the usage of our API looking for trends, patterns and outliers. Our team is just beginning to design this solution so you will participate in the entire development lifecycle including requirements gathering, prototyping, implementation, launch and iteration. Your work will be critical to scaling out our Public API framework which enables advertisers and their partners to easily create, manage and optimize advertising campaigns through programmatic and file-based interfaces. These services are at the core of Amazon's plans to scale its advertising programs. Our aspiration is to build the fastest and most reliable API in the business.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, security and all the other things that make great software great. You will own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end. This position requires collaboration with product managers, technical program managers and partner teams, necessitating a comfort-level with ambiguity and a desire to create, iterate and improve.
