Required skills/experience: AWS CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ELB and ECS. Node.js, Angular 4+, JavaScript, Git. Experience with either Express.js, Koa.js, or NGINX. Experience with all three libraries is a plus. Experience with either Oracle, RDS, MySQL and DynamoDB.
Desired skills/experience: GitHub Enterprise, AWS RDS, AWS IAM, AWS Lambda, Jenkins. AWS CodeDeploy, Lerna, Probot, RDBMS experience or NoSQL data stores. Prior training in Architecting on AWS, Developing on AWS, Operations on AWS, DevOps on AWS
The Engineer will build and maintain tools and applications in an AWS environment to support interactive web application production at a large government agency. The prospective Engineer will use AWS CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ELB, EC2, IAM and Lambda and Jenkins to build, host and monitor their applications. Technologies used to build and maintain applications servers are Node.js, Express.js, Koa.js, NGINX, Lerna, Probot, GitHub Enterprise, Git, Angular 4+, JavaScript, CSS and HTML. Data Stores used to support current applications are RDS: Oracle RDS: MySQL and DynamoDB.
