Software Developer in Test

Allegion is looking for a Software Developer in Test who is passionate about testing, develop creative automated testing solutions for our state of the art connected devices.

As a Software Developer in Test you will be:

* working with a hardworking team of Developers and QA engineers
* crafting and designing a range of automated testing platforms and frameworks that will ultimately reduce defects, improve quality and enable delivery of high-quality software faster
* building numerous functional automated tests scripts for our Mobile SDKs in Android Studio, Xcode
* crafting automated tests both desktop and mobile applications using testing tools like Selenium with C#, SeeTest
* working on defining strategies for automated functional testing as part of Sprints
* translating functional requirements and acceptance criteria into automated tests
* facilitating the development of a reference test app in Xcode or Android Studio

What you bring:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in Mobile testing
* Experience in building numerous automated functional test scripts for web and native mobile apps using an Object-Oriented Programming language - java or C#
* Experience in implementing automation frameworks from scratch, with a strong focus on the automation of CI Builds for Azure DevOps
* Strong knowledge of Android Espresso and or Swift with Quick and Nimble
* 2 years of Agile SCRUM experience, including collaborating with Product Manager and Development Lead
