Job Description

A career in our Consumer Finance, within Financial Markets Business Advisory services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients' complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as their broader business issues.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
* Train and lead staff
* Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
* Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
* Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
* Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
* Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

* Frontend engineering with at least 3 years of experience in enterprise software;
* All layers of client-side and server-side software design;
* Track record of bringing highly-rated web applications to market;
* Proven software designing skills to create extensible/reusable software that meet architectural objectives;
* JavaScript, HTML, CSS; - Front-end (client-side) frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js, bootstrap, backbone, etc.;
* Server-side technologies, esp. node.js and database technologies, e.g. MongoDB;
* Integrations with REST Services; and,
* Continuous integration/deployment, performance/function testing.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in early-stage software project execution as a team collaborator and individual contributor, including:

* Working closely with technical lead, product managers and designers to identify and solve client or stakeholder needs, including complex operations challenges;
* Making sound software design decisions to achieve both scalability and minimization of development time;
* Thinking creatively and strategically, problem solving, and individual initiative;
* Proactively seeking and providing feedback;
* Working in and living an agile development process;
* Creating a creative, innovative, and positive team culture;
* Working seamlessly in an agile environment with product managers, BAs, and designers to understand end-user requirements;
* Formulating use cases, and implement pragmatic and effective technical solutions;
* Troubleshooting and debugging technical issues; and,
* Working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
