Job Introduction:

This role will work in the Corporate Functions - Global Finance Technology group using agile methods to deliver key technology in direct alignment with the business strategies including:

* Delivery of various 3rd party applications that support critical Treasury functions across the Enterprise including Accounts Payable, Treasury Disbursements, Expense, Cash and Check Management. This often includes management of Treasury data, and the implementation of reporting capabilities.
* Java/PCF based development of Treasury applications including, Credit Card Approval, Corporate Aircraft, Vendor Master and Treasury Authority on premises and in the cloud for our business partners.

Primary responsibility for the role is the implementation and support of the 3rd party applications both on premises and in the cloud as we modernize the Treasury portfolio starting with Accounts Payable. Working with the manager, stakeholders, and product owners your will help determine and implement the strategic plans for each of these business capabilities to support the ongoing success of Liberty Mutual.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.


* Generally 3 years of professional experience.


* Proficient in two or more programming languages and tools; knowledgeable in new and emerging technologies.


* Negotiation skills; oral and written communication skills.


* General knowledge of the following: IT concepts, strategies and methodologies, IT architectures and technical standards.


* General knowledge of a business function(s) and business operations.


* Design and development tools.


* General knowledge of layered systems architectures.


* General understanding of shared software concepts.


* General knowledge of architectures and technical standards.


* General knowledge of agile software development concepts and processes


* Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker.


* Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and assist in applying customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning, understanding potential impacts of design requirements.


* Understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, and incremental delivery.


* Collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills required.
