Job Summary:

Skills Inc. is looking for a Hardware Test Engineer for our Fortune 100 level Client located in Redmond, WA. This is an 18-month vendor contract (W-2 ONLY) position. An engineering technician to provide technical support services for development kits and prototype hardware/software self-host units. This role requires an individual with knowledge around the fundamentals of PC HW architecture and Windows operating system. Understanding of embedded systems and basic HW/FW troubleshooting skills are also critical. The role will grow over time from day to day hands-on support for engineering in early development stages of the product to supporting customers participating in self-host activities in various locations across Microsoft's Redmond campus. The ability to work closely with individual engineers as well as execs and their staff in support situations is a must.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities

* Hardware testing and supporting HW development
* Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
* High speed scopes and HW test tools experience
* Solid testing fundamentals
* Soldering and general tech skills.
* Taking directions, running test and documenting.

Education/Experience

AA in Electronics or better.
