The Optical Payload Center of Excellence (OPCoE) develops remote sensing payloads, and processing algorithms and software that transforms collected raw data into information products.
In this role, you will research, design, develop and verify signal and image collection systems, and define and develop processing and dissemination computer algorithms, participate in requirements analysis, develop sub-system architectures, and integrate new signal and image processing technology systems. Your responsibilities will include design, development and analysis of systems and algorithms for the extraction of information from signal and image sensors.
Technologies applied include: remote sensing; detection and estimation theories; morphological processing; speech processing; neural networks; electromagnetic and acoustic effects on signals; and implementation of signal processing with advanced computer architectures.
POSITION CAN BE BASED IN SUNNYVALE, CA OR DENVER, CO.
You would typically have a Bachelors degree and 0 - 3 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications
* BS in an engineering discipline, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience with various computer programming, and/or scripting languages (Matlab, C/C++, Python, etc.)
* Exposure or knowledge in Image Processing, Machine Learning, and/or Robotics
* US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
