SharePoint Developer/ Consultant

We have an immediate need for a professional with a solution focused mindset to help our customers solve business challenges through the use of technology. The ideal consultant is an individual who wants to be part of an energetic, innovative and successful team. If you have a strong background in being a member of a team that leads enterprise-level planning and implementation projects, as well as, are a subject matter expert in SharePoint capabilities, Sparkhound is interested in you joining our team.

As a SharePoint Developer/ Consultant you will:

* Participate in the delivery of projects and solutions to completion in a team environment while demonstrating a consultative personality and collaborative communication style.
* Leverage an understanding of Enterprise Content Management, Records Management, Web Content Management, Intranet and Collaboration concepts to build high quality, intranet, extranet and public internet style solutions for customers.
* Integrate SharePoint focused solutions with customer business solutions through integration using Business Connectivity Services, Web Services and Data Integration technologies.
* Create Information Architecture design competencies that will enable customers to classify and locate information quickly and efficiently.
* Create customer branded solutions leveraging marketing assets that deliver a high-quality experience for end customers.
* Design and develop custom workflow solutions to tailor solutions to enterprise process needs.
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
* Consistently perform assigned tasks using established procedures and working under immediate supervision.

Professional Qualifications:

* 4-year degree (or work experience equivalent)
* Knows fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a field of specialization
* 2 + years of experience with .NET development technologies.
* Have a background in business application development with a strong understanding of collaboration, intranet, extranet and public internet solutions, specifically on SharePoint technologies.
* 0-4 years of professional experience in any relevant setting.
* 0-2 + years of project experience

Special Skills:

* Familiarity with development operations (DevOps) practices and procedures, team development, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Strong Written and oral communication skills Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity
* Competent to make decisions within prescribed thresholds.

Technical Qualifications:

Ideal candidates must demonstrate skills in one or more of the following technical roles:

Modern Web Development / Content Management / Platform Integration Development

* Platforms: Office 365, PowerApps, SharePoint Online, Azure, Sitecore, Kentico, ServiceNow
* Hosting Platforms: Azure IaaS, Amazon Web Services, Windows Server, Office 365
* Programming Languages: C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET Core, jQuery, JSON
* Frameworks: .NET Framework 3.0, 3.5 4.5, 4.7
* Scripting: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
* Database Engines: SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, MySQL, Table Storage
* Lifecycle Tools: Team Foundation Server, Git

SharePoint Administration or SharePoint Development

* Platforms: SharePoint 2010, 2013, SPO
* PowerShell 3.0 and SharePoint Cmdlet Library
* Site Topology Planning and Database, Front End, Search and Indexing Configuration Site Provisioning, Content Database Management, and Capacity Planning
* Security and Authentication Management
* Patch Management
* Backup and Restore Operations
* Storage Planning and Management
* SharePoint 2007/2010 Site Content Migration Practices and Tools
* Hosting Platforms: Azure IaaS, Amazon Web Services, Windows Server, Office 365
* Workflow Engines: Workflow Foundation 4, Workflow Manager Client 1.0, SharePoint Designer Workflow, K2 and Nintex
* Programming Languages: C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET, jQuery, JSON
* SharePoint APIs: CAML, CSOM, REST API
* Frameworks: .NET Framework 3.0, 3.5 4.5
* Scripting: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
