As a ServiceNow Developer IV, your work will help to modernize IT service management in the healthcare space. Premera implemented ServiceNow two years ago (currently using Kingston version), so we are still in the early stages of implementation. You will support various modules, including service catalog, portal, change, incident configuration and discovery. Your work will transform our approach to the employee service experience by improving, automating, and simplifying for both IT and the business with a future state that will include our Premera customers.

What you'll do

* Perform all aspects of Platform Administration, Design, Development, and implementation of solutions on the ServiceNow platform from collecting requirements, writing implementation plans, to coding and execution of those plans
* Facilitate interactive meetings with key stakeholders to develop requirements based on IT and business need
* Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for application users, keep materials up-to-date, and coordinate ongoing training sessions for developers and users
* Configure/Customize ServiceNow applications, building out CMDB, including creating workflows, writing JavaScript, customize the UI, and management of groups & roles
* Build Catalog Items from stakeholder's requirements and create workflows to automate business processes and manage data flows
* Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, fixing bugs and conducting root cause analysis
* Manage production and non-production (Dev, QA, UAT) ServiceNow instances following defined change control/release processes.
* Resolve complex bugs/defects and/or security issues in the ServiceNow environment
* Resolve high-impact findings affecting performance and/or usability of the ServiceNow environment
* Develop test cases for functional, UAT testing, resolution of reported defects and perform integration testing using sample data
* Generate operational reports and KPI analysis as needed
* Help identify, evaluate and drive adoption of processes and procedures that enhance the productivity and predictability of our business
* Work cross-functionally to maintain and improve upon our integrations with other cloud Business Applications

What you'll bring

* 8 years of development experience including: 4+ years' experience in ServiceNow development & 4+ years with working or developing in a combination of the following: JavaScript (specifically ES5/RHINO), PHP, C, Java, Perl, HTML or HTML 5, AngularJS (1.1), BootStrap (3.3), CSS/SCSS, jQuery
* Ability to create detailed documentation for various stakeholders, from developers to end users to senior leadership
* Outstanding critical thinking, meeting facilitation, communications, and personal interaction skills
* Demonstrated proficiency influencing others to work towards a common vision or goal
* Experience managing stakeholder relationships and guiding to consensus
* Demonstrated ability mediating and facilitating communications at the business and IT leadership level
* Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders to resolve significant process design issues
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms and able to tailor communication to audience
* Familiar with standard ITSM related roles such as, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Release Management and Continuous Improvement Management
