Roles and Responsibilities:

* Interpret user requirements, provide system configuration or design recommendations, and perform configuration/customization/deployment of ServiceNow.
* Maintain the integrity of customer ServiceNow deployments across single/multiple instances; coordinate all maintenance and upgrades with customer and ServiceNow.
* Work with customer to develop processes and work flows for incorporation into ServiceNow. Communicate ServiceNow processes, operations and capability information effectively across customers' environments.
* Develop clear and concise technical, process and program road map documentation.
* System administration, account administration, data loading/manipulation/maintenance and application troubleshooting.
* Assist in the implementation ITIL framework practices using ServiceNow, train, mentor and coach customer staff and associated customers
* Monitor/evaluate the Service Now system operability and performance metrics.
* Facilitate and enforce agreed to service levels with tier 2 and tier 3 support (both government and contracted staff).
* Keep customers informed of service events and opportunities that are likely to impact the customer's ability to pursue day-to-day business activities. This individual will also field and resolve escalated ServiceNow issues.
* As business needs change, contractor will work with customers to implement new service offerings within ServiceNow according to customer standards, policies, processes, and methods for new service support offerings.
* Plan and execute ServiceNow projects: gather requirements, align services with requirements and stakeholder needs, and devise scalable, robust, cost-effective and innovating approaches to meet project requirements.
* Communicate project status with stakeholders; prioritize project work with day-to-day operational tasks.

Required Skills:

* 3 years' experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or Implementation Specialist
* 3 years' experience with ITIL Service Management processes
* 5 years leading the development of solutions in client environments
* 4 years' experience with web technologies including Ajax/ API's / CSS / XML / HTML / Javascript / ISON / Webservices
* 2 years of experience with Configuration Management Databases including data importing and management
* 2 years of Agile software development methodologies experience (e.g Scrum)
* 2 years' experience with technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, networks, protocols, email (SMTP, POP3)

Required Education/Certifications:

* BS Computer Science or related

Desired Skill Sets:

* ITILv3 Foundations Certified, ITIL Intermediate level certification preferred
* ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
