In this integral role, you'll oversee the strategy and content for our career websites that will communicate our mission, core values, culture, and commitment to social responsibility. Shape and guide what the world knows about us - you'll build the story of what it's like to work at Macy's America's Store for Life. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position can be based in Cincinnati, OH or New York, NY.

Essential Functions:

* Manage career websites and optimize site content for SEO and SEM purposes.


* Optimize website copy that is indexed for optimal search marketing.


* Perform ongoing keyword analysis for best practices and optimization.


* Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations to keep all Macy's career websites current (LinkedIn, GlassDoor and Indeed).


* Regularly track, report, and analyze website analytics for performance supporting advertised campaigns.


* Manage digital/social media advertising campaign processes (ex; placing ads, reporting).


* Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on all newly developed code.


* Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.


* Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality



Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

* BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field or applicable degree combined with work experience.


* Proven SEO experience.


* Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Bing, etc.


* Solid understanding of performance marketing and conversion analysis.


* In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.).


* Experience managing advertising campaigns across major social media platforms is preferred.


* Working knowledge of ATS and/or CRM would be considered an asset.


* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints would be a plus.



Communication Skills:

* Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Mathematical Skills:

* Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.



Reasoning Ability:

* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.



Physical Demands:

* This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.


* May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.



Other Skills:

* Strong team player and collaborator.


* Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.


* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.


* Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast paced, high pressure environment.


* Strong knowledge of and work experience in Consumer or Recruitment Marketing.


* Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.



Work Hours:

* Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.


* Some travel required.
