Job Summary:

This position participates in and may lead or coordinate the support, testing, planning, and development of applications and enhancements. This role serves as the liaison between application users and technical staff. The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This role may oversee the work product of team members. This job does not have any direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Application Support

* Provides user support, recommendations, and guidance for applications
* Investigates process issues and recommends improvements
* Interfaces with users and provides guidance to technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Assists in preparation of and provides application training and demonstrations
* Participates in the preparation of user documentation
* Assists new users to migrate to the applications as necessary

Application Testing

* Conducts end-to-end functional testing of applications and enhancements

Application Planning & Development

* Takes the lead on projects in a client facing role; brings solution proposals to clients
* Writes business requirements through communicating with users; outlines problems, defines solutions, writes use cases, and identifies affected populations

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Three or more years of relevant work experience

Knowledge and Skills:

* Workday ERP Platform highly preferred
* Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle, principles, practices and procedures obtained through education, experience or certification
* Advanced knowledge in developing test cases, automated test scripts, and scenarios
* Experience in Business and data analytics
* Expert query writing skills
* Applied knowledge of database schema
* Independent thinking and decision making abilities
* Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
* Excellent attention to detail
