Job Description

Senior Voice Engineer for Winfield, IL location. Monitor voice systems, evaluate impact, and troubleshoot problems to implement solutions for all voice and data systems. Configure, test, deploy and maintain/upgrade unified communications and telephony systems. Design and implementation of telephony systems and changes, based on high availability design. Assist with optimization of all voice and data communication issues. Create and maintain end-user training materials. Technical Environment: Multi-cluster, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM), Call Manager, Unity Connection, Unified Presence, Emergency Responder, Cisco Unified Contact Center (UCC), Cisco RTMT, Solar Winds, IPPBX, IP phones, PSTN, ISDN, PRI, SIP trunks, SBC; CUBE; data networking (routing and switching, SIP, H. 323, QOS), Windows 7/8/10, VMWare ESX Server, MS Server.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in voice communications required.

Requirements:

Required skills: 2 years with: troubleshoot, configure, optimize and design of multi-cluster env; Cisco: UCM, UCC, Call Manager, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder; PSTN; ISDN; PRI; SIP trunks; QOS; VMWare ESX; SBC or CUBE. Requires rotating 24hr on call availability. Regional travel to system sites required.
