Do you want to help expand programs that enable sellers grow their business in existing and new areas, and reduce the barrier of entry into selling on Amazon?

At the heart of Amazon's e-commerce business is the Items & Offers Platform engineering team. The team is chartered with evolving the platform that underlies that vast catalog of products and service available to Amazon's customers. The platform is used by millions of merchants to expose customers to new products or new offerings on existing products already selling on Amazon using massively parallel processing and proprietary techniques. On a daily frequency, millions and millions of updates to details, prices, inventory levels, and relationships are processed to keep Amazon's catalog extremely fresh. We're seeking a Technical Program Manager to help us build the next generation rule storage and execution engine, and to continuously grow its scope and reach. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and help define our technical and product strategy, across multiple projects. You'll be working with business owners, customers and senior management to help drive business critical initiatives. With your strategic vision, you will build the team's roadmap, take disparate requests from customers, and synthesize them into features that impact Amazon's billions of customers. Your technical skills will be sought after to influence the team's technical direction through communication, collaboration and commitment to a high quality bar. Additionally, you will help our teams assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints to achieve business goals.

The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and be detail driven and have excellent problem solving skills. You should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement and mentorship.
