BASIC PURPOSE:

Senior Systems Engineer with a blend of technical and functional skills with respect to Microsoft technologies will develop, support, troubleshoot and test applications using C#.NET, WCF, HTML5, JQuery, MVC, JavaScript, Angular.JS development tools.

The Senior Systems Engineer will work with product line managers, developers, and team members at various levels to ensure the development, test, and deployment of high performance information systems for the company.

Reports to EVP, Development

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned:

* Develop and deploy web applications in cross platform, cross browser environment
* Gathering and analyzing business requirements.
* Identifying, tracking, researching, and exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to resolve technical problems.
* Product development using.NET platform technologies (including C#, JQuery, JavaScript, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC) through full software lifecycle, including testing, QA and production delivery.
* Troubleshoot web application performance, including IIS or any other web server deployment, configuration, performance tuning
* SQL Server, Oracle & PostgreSQL database knowledge
* Performs all required administrative functions necessary to the position.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Education & Training:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Post-graduate degree a plus
* Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and MCITP with the focus on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2016 and Office 365

Experience:

* Minimum 10 Plus years' experience with Microsoft technologies on an enterprise level as a Senior Developer required. Candidate with experience with Multi-Environment SharePoint installations, Configuration, Customization and Troubleshooting will be given preference


* In addition:


* 10 years' experience with the .NET Framework tools and the Web development environment
* 5 years' experience with MOSS solutions deployment across multiple farms and environments, including working knowledge of SharePoint Solution Package (WSP) creation.
* 10 years' experience of creating Rest/SOAP/Web API web services
* 10 Years' experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and writing SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL stored procedure, triggers, function
* Experience working with Kendo UI tool will be a plus

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

* Strong skills in Microsoft SharePoint environment including Central Administration, Web Front Ends (WFE), Shared Service Providers (SSP) and other SharePoint-centric application servers and services
* Familiar with cross-browser nuances
* Configuring/Administering SharePoint Farm and Scaling (intranet/extranet)
* Integration of LDAP, MSBI
* IIS, SQL Server 2016 and higher, Creating SharePoint Sites, sub sites, List/Libraries, content types
* Creating custom web parts, features and utilities.
* Able to network with key contacts outside own area of expertise
* Excellent people skills including able to be a team player
