Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description:

* Refine and implement system requirements from user, mission, and functional objectives of a similar development scope.
* Define, clarify, and document system requirements.
* Be responsible for systems development lifecycle and enterprise systems architecture.
* Deliver an integrated, web-based solution for the enterprise system.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent
* 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services or an equivalent Cloud-based architecture, as well as content delivery systems (e.g. Akamai), and related high availability solutions.
* Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance Required

Preferred Additional Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Systems Engineering preferred
* Working knowledge of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) services, including some of the following; Catalog Services for Web (CSW), Web Mapping Services (WMS), Web Feature Services (WFS), Web Coverage Services (WCS), and Web Processing Services (WPS).Experience leading a team which will conduct the end-to-end Solution
* NGA, IC or DoD IT experience strongly preferred
* Experience working with Government customer strongly desired
* Experience performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements, and allocation of interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
* Experience performing detailed trade studies
