Do you have an active Secret security clearance? Are you looking for an exciting career as a Systems Engineer at one of the top Aerospace and Defense Companies?

Be part of the team that is delivering Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites and providing precision navigation and timing to the world. In this role you will work with experienced Mission Integrators and perform system engineering for core aspects of GPS satellites with a focus on electrical and hardware/software systems integration.

Typical assignments include:

* Identifying driving mission needs and requirements, generate and maintain system performance predictions, and work with product teams to ensure a complete requirements, design, and analysis baseline for the system and its components.
* Ensuring the product compliance with all program requirements. This includes defining and executing verification and validation tasks, and generating/evaluating evidence. Ensure the test program achieves the intent of the V&V plan.
* Drafting, reviewing, and releasing trade studies, specifications, technical memos, and other products in support of design reviews and contract deliverables.
* Defining on-orbit operations procedures and author on-board scripts/macros to accomplish mission objectives.
* Supporting space vehicle test and launch base processing. Support on-orbit operations post-launch.

Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent job experience in electrical engineering
* Ability to perform simple software scripting (for example, using MATLAB or a traditional programming language).
* Experience with multiple engineering disciplines or broad background in the physical sciences.
* Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle, including major design reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR
* Highly organized thinker, with the confirmed ability to decompose technical problems and work assignments into smaller executable steps
* Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of partners including peers, design engineers, and customers

Desired Skills:

* Possess engineering, test, and operational experience with spacecraft hardware and software in one or more of the following areas: Command and Telemetry Systems, Attitude Control Systems
* Experience with Satellite launch and operations
* Performing technical trade studies
* Authoring, decomposing, and verifying requirements
