Position Overview

* Design database applications, including interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, global temporary tables, data partitions, and function-based indexes to allow efficient access of the generic database structure.
* Develop SQL / PLSQL programs, scripts in Oracle for the automation and support various data requirements.
* Review and analyze product requirements and any new requests with stakeholders to derive the goal and scope.
* Coordinate solutions for proper implementation methodology with key architects.
* Work with system users to understand systems changes and develop solutions within its requirements.
* Develop complex queries to produce reports that meet business requirements.
* Responsible for building utilities and re-usable code that can be used across the entire development team.
* Consistently review and test the re-usable code to improve its overall performance.
* Identify database structures to support and work with business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability.
* Continuously improve the testing life cycle to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting coordination.
* Coordinate with non-technical users to resolve business issues during user acceptance tests.
* Continuously design, troubleshoot, and support all of the metadata-driven database schemas.
* Create detailed unit test case methods for each and every module to cover all business rules.
* Provide production support including analyzing data and loading issues.
* Design and optimize the production process in addition to managing the data migration.
* Collaborate with our offshore resources on general work assignments and code review.

Position Requirements

* Bachelor or Advanced degree in Computer Sciences or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in database analysis, design, and programming.
* Experience working with OLTP.
* Demonstrated ability of developing and supporting analysis solutions for a variety of systems and applications.
* Ability to collaborate with others within and outside the development group to successfully support business requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
