Position Description

PSS, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing team located in Herndon, VA. The candidate will be expected to support an enterprise environment, and will execute tasks in the following areas: change request, trouble ticket, routine operations and maintenance, and server build.

Clearance Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship is required.)

Position Requirements

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience


* 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator


* Knowledgeable about IC system security standards and INFOSEC processes and boards
* Experience with hardware administration: enterprise server racks, attached storage, and/or SAN storage


* Experience performing technical evaluations

Roles & Responsibilities

Primary duties include performing system and server administration, operations, and maintenance support of a large enterprise 24x7 server infrastructure within the following environments: MS Server 2008/2012, Domino

Specific duties and responsibilities include: implementation of baseline changes, respond to change requests and incident reports, perform technical server evaluations and analysis, and troubleshooting/problem resolution for all supported servers.
