Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities

Senior System Engineer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Research, analyze, and report back on existing systems to enhance services and solutions. Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Develop technical documentation, system architecture and system design documentation. Perform test reliability, scalability, load and throughput processes. Conduct performance testing, unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing. Develop and create software application routines. Write and test data extract scripts. Develop solutions and design patterns for data transformation and application modernization programs. Ensure successful deployment into production. Utilize Infosphere DataStage, Agile delivery, Customer Information Control System Web Service (CICS Web Service), DB2, common business-oriented language (COBOL), and WebSphere Data Power. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a System Engineer, or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Infosphere DataStage, Agile delivery, CICS Web Service, DB2, COBOL, and WebSphere Data Power. Full time. W210.
