Responsibilities:

* Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Microsoft server environment to include Active Directory on multiple networks. This position will provide infrastructure support activities including: Active Directory administration, Exchange administration, Group Policy creation / troubleshooting, DHCP, DNS / WINS support, user profile, server administration, security and configuration management. To perform these maintenance tasks, the administrator must be familiar with WSUS, Dell server hardware, Active Directory, STIG requirements, backups, Exchange, antivirus, and other related technologies. Responsibilities will also include performing software and security updates and other system configuration tasks to ensure the health and availability of servers. Responsibilities also include working with other to deploy new hardware and services into the environment. The System Administrator publishes web (external) resources in the appropriate external zones, as well resolve user permission issues for SharePoint. Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments. The System Administrator should also possess good verbal and written communication skills to present information to senior leadership and the customer.



Requirements:

* Minimum 5-8 years experience as a Systems/Network administrator with increasing responsibilities


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar equivalent experience


* Expert knowledge of Active Directory


* Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008


* 8570 requirements provided separately

Security Clearance:

* Indicate the required level of security clearance here.

Bonus Points:

* Knowledge with VM Ware/Hyper-V


* Knowledge with SharePoint


* Understanding of DoD, Army, and Federal guidelines and best practices regarding networking, systems, and security guidelines


* MCITP Certification
