Do you love making games? Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a senior gameplay engineer for an unannounced title. We're looking for the kind of person who is willing to get into the weeds of game development, to keep turning over stones and looking around corners until they find that approach that makes it all fall into place. If you're the seeker who's always learning new things and can apply that knowledge to seemingly unrelated problems-the tinkerer who figures things out by coding up samples, the polymath who dabbles in lots of disparate gameplay systems, from AI, to pathing, to syncing up animations, to designing scripting APIs for less technical designers-you're the person we're looking for.

Working alongside a small team from various disciplines, you will be instrumental in roughing out our first prototypes. We will iterate, fail, and try new things as we establish the code, culture, and character of the engineering on the project. So, what are you waiting for?

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with designers and artists to implement prototypes of core gameplay mechanics.
* Work on core gameplay systems, including camera, combat abilities, attributes, and AI.

Requirements:

* Demonstrated success prototyping games or early bootstrapping game projects.
* C++ programming experience in a team environment.
* Experience evaluating code architectures, game engines, and middleware systems.
* Demonstrated knowledge of various game systems.

Pluses:

* Shipped at least one game.
* Experience with non C-style programming languages (Lua, Scheme, Haskell, Javascript, etc.)
